How to Request a Correction
- Email jake@helmlegal.net with the subject line "CORRECTION REQUEST: [Entity or Page Name]"
- Identify the specific statement or data point you believe is inaccurate
- Provide the corrected information and, where possible, a link to the public record supporting the correction
- Include your contact information and relationship to the matter (optional but helpful)
What Happens Next
- Acknowledgment within 48 hours of receipt
- Review against public court records, dockets, and filings
- Decision within 7 business days
- Update published and logged below if correction is verified
What We Will and Won't Correct
WE WILL CORRECT
- Factual errors in case numbers, dates, or court names
- Misspelled names or incorrect aliases
- Incorrect role descriptions
- Misattributed counsel or parties
WE WON'T REMOVE
- Publicly filed court records or docket entries
- Published judicial opinions or orders
- Evidence admitted in litigation
- Sealed or expunged records (we don't publish these)
